About the Artist

J. M. Jung is a native Chicago artist working in oil, watercolor, and a variety of techniques on paper. A versatile artist, Jung’s portfolio includes representational work and paintings that often meet at the intersection of realism and abstraction. Jung’s subjects include still life, portraits, and scenes of Chicago life.

Jung has worked as a graphic artist, illustrator, and as an art and communications director and received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
